I recently stayed at a hostel in the heart of Mexico's vibrant capital city. My purpose was to explore the historic area surrounding the Zocalo, and this hostel was the perfect base for my adventures. The location was excellent, with easy access to major sites and attractions. The hostel itself was spacious, with well-maintained facilities. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and there was even a kitchen with private food storage lockers available. The dorm rooms were quiet at night, providing a peaceful night's sleep on comfortable beds with clean sheets. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hostel to fellow travelers.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The hostel offered clean and affordable private rooms, which felt more like a hotel. the staff was friendly and the location was great, right in the heart of the historic center. This made it easy to walk to many places of interest and we felt safe even at night.
One major drawback was the lack of AC or heating system in the facility, which meant we had to sleep with the windows open. Unfortunately, this led to a mosquito problem and we ended up with several bug bites.

The hostel had a very clean and spacious atmosphere, with ample room in the private double room I stayed in. The beds were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were well-maintained and there were no issues with waiting for a shower or toilet. The location of the hostel was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and access various attractions.
The room did not have air conditioning, only a fan which had a fixed speed. This made the room quite stuffy and when the fan was turned on, it blew directly onto the bed, causing discomfort.

Christmas at this hostel: Best aspects - The hostel was beautifully renovated with fantastic artwork and architectural details. The location was perfect, with a central location close to a Turibus stop and lots of reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
The showers had very little privacy and the water pressure in some stalls was not great. the room only had one small window atop the door, which led to poor ventilation.

Great central location, just a 5-minute walk from the main square. It felt safe to walk back to the hostel at night. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The private room was clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was also clean. The breakfast was amazing, better than expected. It was a good value for the price.
The wifi didn't reach my room on the upper floor, so I had to go down to the reception area for internet access. The common space didn't encourage socialization, as everyone seemed to be glued to their phones and laptops.

The nearby metro stations provide convenient access to all parts of the city, allowing you to travel around easily. The hostel is also situated close to the main square, offering a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. The rooms are clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The wifi connection at the hostel is unreliable or sometimes nonexistent, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on internet access during their stay.
